Pet Urine If your dog or cat has urinated on your carpet, the first thing we need to do is pull the carpet back and clean the floor below it. If urine has soaked all the way into the wood or concrete below, Killz product will help kill the smell underneath. This will completely neutralize the smell that can come from the floor. Replacing the padding under the carpet is the next step. While the carpet is flipped over, I soak the backing of the carpet with general cleaner, then reinstall the carpet and soak the rest of the area with the same product.
